Walton had a large entry at the Pairs Head on the Tideway which was held in beautiful calm and sunny conditions. We had many good performances but it seemed like you had to be called Holly to win a pennant … Holly McG and Tara had a great win in Masters C doubles in a fast time that would also have won Masters B. And Holly W and Izzi had a stunning row to win Junior pairs by over 40 secs in a time that placed them sixth-fastest women’s pair overall! Congratulations to them and they will be representing the club at the official prize-giving ceremony on 22nd October.
