Conditions at the two Molesey Regattas were challenging, because of the wind. On the Saturday several events were cancelled, and racing was finally suspended in the middle of the afternoon. Somewhat better conditions on the Sunday allowed most events to proceed, with only the J14 and J15 singles cancelled. All the Walton crews paddled down through Sunbury Lock – a new experience for many. There were wins for the J16 boys’ and girls’ quads (Evan/Denis/Charlie/Patrick and Park/Issy/Izzy/Holly), J16 and J15 boys’ doubles (Evan/Denis and Lukas/Hugo), as well as several losing finalists and a 2 foot verdict in the WJ14 quads.
