Turbulent weather, including thunder and lightning, did not put off the ladies from the Walton masters squad who competed at the Euro Masters Regatta in Munich last week. They joined forces with friends from clubs around the country, yielding some great results against very strong competition. They didn’t come back with any medals this year but had lots of fun and brilliant side by side racing and are really looking forward to the World Masters in Berlin next year.
The B4x and A2x came fourth, B4x and B2x third, while the C8 came second, as did the C4-, by less than a canvas! Sadly the B8 had to scratch as thunderstorms delayed races and they had to catch their flight home …
